As President Bush said the Republicans took a thumpin; over Iraq. Try telling Matt that:

"The Far Left does hate America, does support terrorists by electing traitorous Democrats, and does hate our military. You can call me whatever you want. It wasn't Conservatives that allowed Democrats to win back the House. It was a bunch of undisciplined Rhinos."

Perfectly wrong.

Name ONE democrat who says the "hate" America or our military. If anything, the Left taking the keys to the car away from the Right is a matter of avoiding and even worse mess, and it the Left's patriotic duty.

The Neo-Cons may not hate America, but if they dont they have a funny way of showing it.

Not so – they voted to send a message to republicans and I think it got through.

America is feed up with Bush. They do want change. But it looks to me like the Blue party is already relaxing.

They had 2 months of hearings and gave up. They found a lot of good evidence then shelved it. Now it is election time and Impeachment would cost too much.

I'm going back to the basics "Americans Take Back the House"

Blue Collar America need to be in Control of the House.

It truly is strange, that both sides are so polar opposites yet see themselves as having sole access to the Truth. "What I think is going to happen is more valid than what You think is going to happen." is what it basically boils down to. If we look at historical patterns we see that no war is ever fought as expected and without sacrifices, and we also see that conflicts avoided only result in worse scenarios further down the line. This war we're in has been brewing for decades and it's time it was ended decisively, through victory, before more attacks on American soil take away innocent lives.

Yes, US voters have said they want the troops back from Iraq, but the Saudi Arabian government wants them in Iraq them through 2008.

Interesting article about Cheney's visit with the Saudi royalty.

I'm not sure I know who Matt is.

I believe the American public voted the Democrats in because of frustration over Iraq, preceived scandal in the Republican congress, and concern over runaway spending and illegal immigration.

The Democrats also ran some more "conservative" candidates in key districts, and actually ran "to the right" of Republicans in several cases with respect to one or more of these issues.

I believed at the time that the switch to the Democrats would move the country leftward, and that it would be bad for the country. I still do.

I was outvoted, clearly. All I can do is somehow hope I'm wrong.

But what is right is not always popular, and vice-versa. Time will tell.

America is sick of NeoCons hating Americans, thats why.

Matt sounds young and mind-controlled. Sad.

Once again: Neo-Cons refuse to take personal responsibility, and will shout sad little propaganda slogans rather than deal with reality. We need to get the Neo-Cons the Hell out of the Republican party.

We need to get some real Conservatives back in the Republican party.

Why haven't the Democrats articulated a detailed foreign policy as an alternative to the President's?

Matt has bought into Rush and Hannity too much. I am a liberal and my whole family is conservative, and we all love this country and think this war is wrong. People who preach about other Americans as if they are terrorists need to get their head checked. Ann Coulter is a good example
