It means you need to sit down and take a rest. If it accompanied by seeing spots or a thumping in your ears, you should have your blood pressure checked.

The baby is growing larger each day, the weight of pregnancy does put strain on your lower body. What you are experiencing is probably some form of hypotension(lower blood pressure usually happens when rising from a sitting or lying position then suddenly standing up.) The blood circulating in the lower extremities take more time to get the blood back up to the brain & heart thus causing a feeling of lightheadedness/fainting. I suggest getting up slowly and drinking more fluids to keep this annoyance at a minimum. If it gets really bothersome, then talk to your obgyn about it. But I think it is one of the normal cycles of pregnancy. I remember it happening to me and I've had three babies. GOod Luck and hopes that helps a little ;)

May not be anything. Your body produces about 1/3 more blood when pregnant. That may be it. Blood pressure or dehydration. Drink more water. What color is your urine. Should be VERY light , almost clear if getting enough water. I had a dehydration issue always with my 4 kids. My keytones were always a plus 4 (not good as they attack the baby) in the ER. I didn't even feel thirsty but my body was. Dehydration can irritate the uterus and cause contractions. ALWAYS call your GYN then lie down on your left side with a glass of water.

dont panic.
when you feel it,sit down put your legs higher than your head on a pillow or sth.ask someone to make you the mixture of suger.salt and water which will taste a bit funny and is alike the iv they give you at hospitals.
it can be your blood pressure as others have mentioned but it can also come from your inner ear.the liquid in your ear which is responsilbe for your balance too,
if it went on for quite a bit have your ears checked too.
take it easy .maybe when you are really fatigue it comes back to you.take some multivitamin mabe you are weak.some people are weak even though they are overweight.take B6 and 12.
god luck

It could be a lot of things: dehydration, low blood sugar, low blood pressure. Dehydration is the only one that is really dangerous as it can cause preterm labour. Low blood sugar is not dangerous in the short term but eating enough often enough is obviously best. Low blood pressure is not dangerous during pregnancy, and is generally not treated, however care should be taken not to be a danger to oneself.
The other cause is that your blood vessels (and almost everything else) is more relaxed during pregnancy. This means the blood tends to pool. So if you stand up quickly you may become light headed. Stand up more slowly ;-)

I also got lightheaded. It is because the bloodflow in your body is not as adequate and it is being over worked. Just try to get up slower and dont stand in one place for too long. If it gets really bad or if you become overly concerned definately call you OB.

It could mean your bloodsugar is low, or you are dehydrated!! Make sure you drink enough water and eat enough healthy food. Try a snack and some water, give it about an hour, and if you don't feel better then see your DR. Good Luck!!

You need to eat, sit down and rest....Your entire body belongs to your baby right now and you are not relaxing enough...It could be hunger, lack of oxygen, circulation..but it shouldn't be anything too serious...all pregnant woman experience it. Just sit down, have some water, eat something and relax.

Could be low blood pressure - a nearby pharmacy might have a machine.
