I know steroids is an issue...him being accused of cheating the game and gaining an unfair advantage

Hank aaron faced a lot of death threats and recived a lot of hate mail when he was chasing the record.

I can't see race being an issue since the current record holder (Henry Aaron) is also one of the cool people.
