I once wrote to the show after a friend and I composed a musical tribute to 617 Squadron (The Dambusters) entitled 'Apres Moi Le Deluge' and which is now in their musical library. I asked if we could have a flight in one of the remaining Lancaster Bombers which were the planes used in the raid. We didn't even get a reply!

I've neither seen nor heard of this show, and I remember many shows that were on before I came onto the TV scene. If Jim could fix it so that my upstairs neighbours wouldn't use up all the hot water before 6AM, that would totally rock my world!

I think that the problem is that most of the things that people want to do now are actually available to them. For a price. Having said that, I would still love to go in a fighter jet!

He could fix the chronic drip drip drip in the bathtub, and put in a new shower stall as well. Then he could rip up the old tile and put in new flooring, and then put in a new sink.

He would fix it so that my housework was always done. I hate it!! Takes up to much of my valuable time, ive tried ignoring it but it just winds me up.

no,but i fixed it for him.i used to play for him on fund raising occasions at stoke mandeville and other venues with my group.
