Well, I'm almost 20 now but have listened to ONLY classic rock since I was 15. [ok-ok, i've listened to a little bit of ska, as well!]

I love: the eagles, the beatles, pink floyd, the who, bob seger, jefferson airplane, the doors, BTO, the allman brothers, fleetwood mac, boston, aerosmith, journey, foreigner, the kinks, queen, CSNY, styx, CCR, steve miller band, yes, doobie brothers, chicago, lynyrds kynyrd, the police etc.

:)

i remember my friends having no idea who nearly any of those bands were but hey, that's the best music there is. enjoy it. you're a smart person :)

You might be the only female...but my five-year-old son really loves the Beatles.
We can walk into a store with music playing in the background and if a Beatles song comes on, he'll say "That's the Beatles".

Glad you like that music - hope you also tried out Yes, Emerson, Lake & Palmer and Jethro Tull...some of the best progressive rock at the time came out in the early 1970's.
Because of the style of those groups, it also got me to listen to real, honest-to-God classical music, like Bach, Beethoven, etc....

Well, I think that most people have a preference but also like other stuff. I enjoy all branches of metal more than most things but once in a while I will listen to something different. Classic rock is very good but try to have more of a variety. It's fun to try other music. If you listen to other music and still don't like anything but classic rock then that's fine. Their are many people under 18 who just like classic rock. You'd be suprised.

I'm 21 and I've always listened to classical rock too. I guess it's because I grew up listening to it w/ my parents. I introduced Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd etc to my friends. Classic rock is definetely better than this so called rock that's out these days. Everything that is out today involves screaming or sounds like pop. Half of them don't even know how to play their instruments. I'm sure you're not the only one

No way in hell are you the only one under 18 years of age to like classic rock. You want to know what's nuts. I started listening to the Beatles since I was 9 years old, and I've liked classic rock ever since. 9 YEARS OLD!!! I was born to like rock & roll, and I'll die liking rock & roll. Don't ever be afraid of what you like, cause that's what makes us human. We all may look the same but were all different in our own way.

P.S.
If someone tells you it's wrong to like classic rock, kick there butt.

No, when I was 18 there were many females under 18 that liked classic rock. It wasn't called 'classic' back then, though!

Absolutely not. My 18 daughter is a rocker from way back! All her teachers were astounded at the music she knew! Rock on!! P.S. AC/DC is blatantly missing from your list. I'm sure you just overlooked it!! I won't tell them! Ha!

You have excellent taste in music...
Jesus, girl...
Those are all my favorite classic rock bands. too...
How on earth did you become exposed to that?!?
When I was 18, AC/DC was my favorite band...and guess what?
We got to see 'em "live" when they were still young, and up-and-coming newbies...!!!
Man, those were the days...!!!
