Could it be dropping, or dilating or just pressure?

The baby is dropping and getting into position for labor. It's ok, you'll probably feel a lot more of it in the next few weeks.

Gosh the joys of pregnancy lol. This is info I just found: Vaginal pain Some women occasionally feel a sharp, stabbing pain inside the vagina during late pregnancy. This is probably linked to the cervix starting to dilate, which can happen weeks, days or hours before labor begins. It is usually nothing to be concerned about, but tell your doctor if it causes a great deal of discomfort. Any severe pain in the lower abdomen or associated vaginal bleeding should be reported to your doctor right away. So all normal hun, just sounds like labor is iminent. Good luck hun and congrats.

It could be that the baby has dropped into the pelvic area and now that beautiful little head is pushing down there. When in doubt, though, call your doctor. You've gotten this far. No point on taking any chances.

Sharp pelvic pains in that area usually means the baby is dropping.

Congrats! You are getting close! I know, they hurt! Feels like a knife jabbing you!

I am having the same thing and the doctor said that the pelvic bone is made in two bones and the cartilage it is held by in the middle is stretching getting ready, ( becoming more flexible). so it would be pressure, weight from the uterus.

Could be some of all the above...usually someone who sees you on a daily basis will notice whether you've dropped or not. You're getting close :)
