One morning I had a very important hearing with a judge regarding my social security disability. It was in a town about 20 miles away. Right on the edge of town my car just stops running and wouldnt restart. This guy comes out of nowhere to help me push it on the side of the road. I mentioned my dilema and he offered me a ride to my hearing. When I arrived there, this same man says that he could also give me a ride back. After thanking him profusely I didnt really think he could or would come back to get me. Lo and behold, I come out of the hearing and there he is waiting for me. I get in and he takes me back home. I tried to give this guy some money but he refused and he refused other offers I made to him. He stepped up to the plate when he didnt have to and it has given me faith in people once again that some of them are angels in disguise.

my car broke down on a dark country road once. ( way up in the mountain) needless to say i was scared stiff. especially when a truck pulled up behind me, and a big burley scarey looking guy got out and walked up to my car. i started shaking and crying i was so scared. i thought, ok he;s going to kill me, and nobody will ever find my body way up here. he asked me threw the window, what happened to my car. he looked under my hood, and told me one of my cables had broke, thats why it wont start. he used his cb, to have his son bring up his tools, and the correct cable so he could get me back on the road. well, the guy fixed my car, and then offered to foow me off the mountain to safety. i found out a couple of day later that he owned the service station at the bottom of the mountain. he refused money the night he fixed my car. so i went into his service station to pay for the cable, and his time for fixing my car. he still refused the money. said if he didnt want to help me, he would not have stopped. he said god must have sent him up the mountain road for a reason, because all of a sudden he felt like going for a drive. i tried to also apologize for refusing to get out of my car that night. he said he understood perfectly, and not to worry. well, i hope i didnt bore anybody with my story. i am always stopping to help people when i can and i was always told that i would get help when i needed it, now i believe it.

One time I took my dog for a walk into the city. It was hot. He got tired and thirsty. I tied him to a parking meter and went looking for a place to get water. I came back in a few minutes to get the dog when I realized that we needed to walk a few more blocks to drink, and someone had left a big bowl of water for him.

When I was a child, both my brother and myself were swimming at a lake and went over a steep drop off. We were both drowning and a man pulled us out and plopped us down on the sand. He was there with his family and my mother had left us unattended. He gave her hell when she got back then he and his family got up and left.

I spent 4 years of my life with him, gave him a son, and when the kids started the house on fire, he left a week later. Haven't seen him since and unfortunately, neither has our son.
