if you based your entire life on one thing, the only thing that was really important....and then suddenly it doesn't mean anything to you anymore?

If I was basing my life on something that was false or a lie or something short shighted I would be glad for the "revelation." I would then begin the search for that which is true, right, worthwhile, and eternal.

We can't base our lives on one thing to be happy. We have to look to many different areas and people to have a strong and positive outlook on life! It's way too dangerous to have such a limited focus, and hopefully, the person of whom you are speaking isn't yourself. If it is, you need to look for the joys of life every where your path takes you, as life is truly full of wonder! Have a magnificent journey! Annie

i would be shattered, lost, torn to peices and feel as though life was without meaning. if i had based EVERYTHING on what now is non existant, then i'd feel as though theres nothing to live for. fortunately, i know not to put all my eggs in one basket. i have several joys in ly life. there is no one person/thing that defines me.
