i found a mouse in a trap finishing off the bag of chips as it died. it was kinda funny it was pulling with his front legs and eating at the same time.

I had rats last year. funny yet discusting. The rat traps worked quite well for us. I have a couple different ideas for you. you can use one of those have a heart traps (they can't get out atleast). Get a small air rifle (I got one right between the eyes and honestly looked like a horror movie) or if you don't have too many and have the patients, a bottle of So Co and a kitchen knife. If you are think these are just a little too rediculous, I would weld a few 1 1/2 inch nails to the trap. trust me, they're not much fun. I got so damn annoyed with them that I started stabbing and throwing knives through the wall (got one).

Id get my husband and my brother in law to take care of it for me. Theyre pretty good at catching rats. They both grew up near the river and their parents' houses would get river rats in the basement sometimes. Theyre both experts on how to kill a rat. If it was only me, I'd probly run away and move back in with my mom until the rat decided to move out.

Wow that sounds like a tough rat. But moving might be a bit extreme. Borrow, rent or buy yourself a miniature terrier (Yorkie or something similar). Those dogs are like little rat terminators! They are way more effective than cats.

Idk,rat poison would stink up your home if they die between the walls,right?I've seen those glue traps,and they're gross!The rat is still alive and glued to the trap trying hard to get away.Scary!! lol

No. I would assume they were the Secret Of NIMH rats and that I would be able to become famous by capturing them.
