They aren't asking anything, they are attempting to steal your self-esteem. If they really cared about you, they would use the same energy to share their knowledge with you.

LOL, I wasn't conscious Charlie Brown appeared like he merely stepped off the set of 'Malibu's maximum needed.' (rofl, i'm thinking of how hilarious it could have been to work out Charlie bounce onto a motor vehicle and fireplace 2 device weapons at that gang, extremely of Jamie Kennedy ... hilarious!)

They usually ask me that after an event that affected my life, whether positively or negatively. Yes I do know what they are talking about when they ask me that question. Usually, the question is in regards with some assumption I have made and the recent event goes against it.

People say that when they witness the same mistake more than once. They just don't realize that it may be a different person making this mistake. Most of the time they don't know either.

Why don't you simply ask them what it is that you're supposed to learn. Since they brought it up, they obviously think you need to know something.

I think they are refering to their own views. Many times peole find themselves wondering why people are so dumb. Well its more complicated. The real thing I believe they are asking is "when will you learn my VIEW?"
