I just don't get it. I've never watched it, I don't think I ever will, and I think the concept is just stupid, and proof that most human beings are just celebrity-obsessed sheep with no lives. Prove me wrong.

its easy to hate something you've never seen. you dont get it and never will because you have never seen it. I agree with you about the obession part, no tv show is worth losing sleep over. but American Idol is fun, and it discovers new talent. the winners are not always the talent...
