Silver for sure! but if your going to do gold, white gold is the only way to go, its white hot!

I love Silver Newbridge Jewllery is my absolute favourite, I think that Gold has lost some of it's appeal. Silver is more modern and can be worn with causal and dress clotrhes. It is also cheaper!!!!!!!!!! But for my engagement ring(if I ever get married!!!) I want a Platinum or white gold ring!!!!

The material that jewellery is made from is not important.
What is more important is the craftsmanship & time used to make it. And of course what the end result looks like, undepended on wether it is made out of gold or silver or even iron.

Just as it is now acceptable to mix china and crystal dinnerware, it is very " in" to mix silver and gold.... and I do. I really like platinum, but the metal is too soft. Silver holds up better.
