yes I was 14 and it was my sister's best friends wedding and boy was it something. The only reason i went was because I never saw anyone actually get married but anyway, the father of the bride said I object and he went on about how his daughter should marry someone more worthy and like four guys had to pull him out of the lane where the bride was trying to walk up ~ it was funn if not lame and boring

No, but that's what the groomsmen are for. Traditionally groomsmen were large heavily armed men who dealt with anyone who objected.
P.S. They also had the job of making sure the groom didn't get cold feet and run away.

I personally haven't seen such...but there were a few I attended where I ALMOST spoke my mind. Espicially the one where the bride clearly suggested she'd run away w/ ME of all people.
I chickened out---which I think pretty much explains why other's don't voice objections.
ps: I was hoping someone would object to my marriage....they'd done me a favor....LOL!!!
