I have a full brother I have never seen. I have a half brother and sister I was raised with. Even though I could tell a difference between my brother, sister & myself, looking back it was more of an age difference than anything. I have 2 children, my oldest is not my husbands, we try very hard not to show any difference between the two, we have talks about it, because we both know how it is to feel like the odd man out, even if we really weren't.

I have a full brother and a half sister. We were all treated the same. When my half sister got old enough my mom would let her go out, and my brother had to sit at home. Of course he was about 15 or 16, but when he got old enough i had to sit at home. We were all treated the same.

Yes,
i have a half brother, step brother and step sister.
I don't have a blood brother or sister. I always wondered how it would be.
I would say yes TREATED differently of course, its so unfair but true. Think it happens all over the world...
Maybe it could be that the on each side of the parents would love the kids more than a step child.
Its not like we ask for it!!!!!!!!!!

My mother and father were not married but they were together and my mom broke up with him for something he had done but he got married, his wife had a kid then they had 2 more. I rarely see them because his wife don't like me and my dad don't call he says that I should call him. But who's the adult? I don't get much from him all of his time and money is spent on the kids and the wife of his. So he doesn't do much but after a while you get used to not seeing the mother or the father and you find out in the long run they were just holding you back.

Yes, but my parents weren't married. I was an unwanted teenage accident. I ended up being raised by my maternal grandparents. My half siblings on both sides were treated much better than I was and raised by their parents.
However, I still think I got the better deal. My grandparents are the most wonderful people on the face of the earth. I was very fortunate to have them in my life.

I always thought my parents were more interested in each other and that I wasn't important to them. I felt that they always treated my half-brothers as their 'real' children and I was just a problem, and add-on.
