Brilliant, mudmarine. I'm sure if we just kill enough innocent Muslims those who are still alive will start liking us, or fear us enough to stop plotting against us. After all, they couldn't possibly have any legitimate complaints against the U.S. government since 1953 could they?

It depends on how you see terrorist action. If you see it as a criminal matter, then opposing it with the military doesn't make much sense. If you see it as an act of war, then a military response does make sense.
