accepting rent assistance in wi?

i want to accept rent assistance in wisconsin. but before i do, how deep into my personal information will the housing authority go? i mean will they be checking into who holds my mortgage note, credit history, if i own multiple properties, etc.?

Generally, these types of questions are not asked of a landlord. Sec 8 Housing assistance or similar is more concerned with whether the housing offered meets their quality criteria. Expect to have the premises visited and checked for compliance in that regard.

I have to wonder what your history is, given that you are concerned about these agencies delving into it.
