C'mon guys help me out. I know for a fact Peyton is not the highest paid player in the NFL. Vick made like $23Mil or something like that. I'm not looking for richest athlete so take out Tiger and any Oscar de la Hoya. I'm talking about PER year the ACTUAL amount they make in a year or playing season. This takes into account signing bonuses and the salary for the SPECIFIC year. I know this is really hard, especially for NFL contracts because they are almost always weighted for more money in the later years. Basically I want to know who made the most for the current season in each sport or last season (NFL)

NFL: Peyton Manning - he IS the highest paid player in the NFL ($14.17 million per year w/ $19 million more available in incentives per year), Vick is #2 ($13 million per year)
NBA: Shaq
MLB: Alex Rodriguez, he has a clause in his contract that guarantees he will be the highest paid player. If another player gets a bigger contract, A-Rods automatically goes to $1 million more than that.
