Only 11 players are playing in the field. So no matter if you have talent or not in cricket what counts in the end is the result of the match and records. When Ireland defeated Pakistan every one said Ireland is a talented side and when Bangladesh defeated India every one said they are learning from their mistakes and developing into a good team. Does it mean Ireland is more talented than Pakistan or Bangladesh has become a better team than India. Talent has to be there if you want to play good and experience is the key. To answer your question I would say batting wise India has an edge over Pakistan while in bowling India is no where near Pakistan.

Pakistan has more talent as they have produced much great player( i mean the players who made world records like more ha tricks, fastest century, the highest one day international score, fastest bowler) and compare who has won more one day and test matches played between these. And by analysis, of this record India is a bigger country has much population so i think Pakistan has more cricket talent.

India is more talented in batting and Pakistan in bowling and in fielding both of them are "Nil"..so i think they are equaly talented but in different department! But........the thing is that they hardly bother to "use" that talent fearing it might finish or would be jinxed if they showed it on the field .. talent matters but it is correlated with the "use of it"...what matters more is how to use it ..if a talent could not take them to the second level of world cup..then its of no use ...at that point i would prefer the spirit of bangladesh and Ireland like teams over the talent of experienced india and Pakistan !!

From what I have heard Pakistan does have more talent than India. However in the end it is experience that really matters.
