If she does not know when her licence suspended or that she has no lights on when driving at night then she should not be driving she is a danger to the public.
Would you not know about your licence and your lights if you were a responsible driver.

I feel sorry for her in that she has been pampered so long she honestly believes she's above the law and everyone else. Jail time was the best thing the judge could have done for her. Maybe she'll get a taste of "The Real Life" and finally wake up from her self-absorbed ways.

She was convicted for driving under the influence and got a suspended sentence and had her license revoked. She was stopped for driving on a revoked license. She had to have understood what suspended license meant. Her excuse is that she did not read the order, she relied on her publicist. Do you really believe that she asked her publicist? She figured that she could get away with it as she has gotten away with everything in this life. Maybe a stint in jail will be her wake up call. Probably not. It took Robert Downey a couple of trips to the joint to get the message. Any one of us would be serving our time or doing "community service" which for this type of thing in California probably means wearing an orange jump suit on Saturday morning and spearing papers and cans along a freeway.

She is going to serve time, she violated parole and jail she will go. That prison is overcrowded though and she will be treated special in a place where they put journalists and police officers. She will have her own cell, and will likely only have to serve 10% of her time there. She is being a baby, and needs to learn that drunk driving is a serious offense and the law is not to be messed with no matter who you are.

I think she should not be serving time for such a relatively minor crime. She really was doing nothing wrong- not drinking or anything when she was stopped for having her headlights off, (I have done that- we are all human) and she really could have misunderstood how to get her driver's license un-revoked after her 30 day suspension. I think I could have made the same mistake, maybe, thinking that my driver's license would be re-instated automatically after 30 days. I don't think her serving jail time is appropriate justice. The punishment really doesn't fit the crime. I really don't think you or I would/should be serving jail time for this one!

You're right; the law should apply to her as it does to the rest of us.
