Submarines Cannot go to the bottom of the ocean because inside the submarine there is only air. Outside the submarine there is water. As you sink down in the water the pressure gets greater and finally the air inside the submarine will not be able to hold the submarine up and it will collapse and crumple.

When you get below a certain depth, they no longer call it a submarine but a submersible. You can't get to the bottom because it is just a narrow crack only a few inches wide.

water has more pressure as you go further down into the water the more compression builds up and it would 'squash' the submarine. ***
