Read this True Story...
There are currently 3 men in jail 1 on death Row...for a crime they did not commit. They were convicted because the town thee lived in was scared of them. Basically they got accused of murder for listening to Metallica & wearing the color black...

Exactly, Atomik. Punks and Goths look different from others because they want to send a message that they are different. People pick up on this message, and they interpret it as "we don't want to associate with you", so they tend to ostracize those who are different, thinking it's what they wanted in the first place.

Because there is bad people in the world that start rumors and the listeners believe everything. Some people may just be scared because of the way they look.

They look scary! I mean, really, think about it: they all wear black, have outrageous piercings on their face, walk around with chains and dark makeup and listen to demonic music. Unless you're into Punk and Goth stuff, it's probably gonna scare you at least a little.

i don't think people are "scared" of them...i think those rocker punk goths types like to THINK people are scared of them...anyways for me...i think they are all just lames who are TRYING too hard to be "different"...it's like just calm down with the "i'm trying to rebel against the world...."

..~well i cant speak for EVERYONE... But myself,personally... sometimes "goth"or "emo" or as you say..."punk rockers" look like they have not seen a shower in MONTHS...
so I dont think that people are so afraid of "them" but afraid of the odor that they might emit...

that's just stupid. why be scared of anyone, unless they have a gun to your head. even then, it's not good to be scared.

because they look like freaks, and try to act like their tuff and mean. we i see goths and punk rockers i think they look funny like clowns or something
