I have been coloring my nails for a while now, but everytime I color my nails, I get little bumps on them, they are like little dots all over my nails, and it makes my nails look uneven.

Make sure you wash your hands and nails after you file them, and then dry them completely before you polish. Dust particles or nail filings can leave those little dots. Also, shake or roll your polish well before you use it to prevent air bubbles on your nails. If you use a topcoat, wait 5 min. or so after you polish to apply it. Sometimes if you put layer after layer on very quickly, you'll see those little bumps.

Oh don't you hate that? Those are air bubbles caused by the natural oils of your nails. Wash your hands and your nails thoroughly before you paint them, and that should eliminate the problem. Works for me!

That happened to me before. I went to the salon adn they said to stop coloring them for about a week to let them "breathe." They also suggested I use a nail buffer. It did wonders for me.

maybe try shaking up the fingernail polish. If the fingernail polish that your using is old then buy a new one. Good luck!

Sounds like some kind of allergy. Have you tried changing brands of nailpolishes?
