Well, if you own your home and you are doing the renovations of your own free will then there is nothing you can do until it is finished. If you are renting and you are left for a week with out these things, then ask your landlord for some kind of break on your rent for the week you are with out your kitchen supplies. If you are a renter and thoes things were in the apartment when you signed the lease the land lord has to fix any problem within 48 hours or are required to give you a break on the rent or some other compensation. Good luck.

did they warn you about the repairs?
if they gave you ample time and warning, then the only thing you can recoup is any out of pocket costs (ie buying a small portable stove to cook food or a small refrigerator to keep food cold). eating out is your choice, and not something the housing association has to reimburse you for.
I've washed dishes in my bathtub when my sink pipes busted. I didn't hold my landlord responsible for that small inconvenience.

Unfortunately you do not have many legal rights, but you may be able to claim compensation for distress and inconvenience. The link below should tell you everything you need to know.

Contact the association. Find out if there is anything they can do for you (i.e., help pay for a meal a day, or something). But odds are, you're out of luck. I feel your pain.

Aww did dums - the housing assosiation giving you a brand new kitchen and but taking a little while to fit it? Well - stop bloody complaining, get your own bloody house paid for by you - and cough up the five grand it costs for a new kitchen, don't think you would be complaining then... how dare they not put you up in the Ritz hotel!
