Well, I'm not an expert...but I'll try to help :-)
While I was pregnant, I used cocoa butter to relieve the itching feeling of my stretchmarks (vitamin E oil is supposed to prevent stretchmarks, but I didn't find that out until I was already experiencing stretching skin...plus I got larger than the average pregnant woman by gaining more than 60 pounds).
I am not aware of cocoa butter having any scar dissolving/removing properties.
There are a few products that I have heard about that are specifically for this purpose though.
You might think about trying the Neosporin scar patch...I'm not sure of the technical product name, but it is a band-aid like patch that is supposed to make raised skin from scars more level to the rest of your skin and less noticeable.
The other product that I know about it Mederma (not sure on spelling) scar cream/ointment...according to the commercial, if you rub this cream or ointment (I'm not sure which one it's considered to be) on your scar everyday it will fade and be much more noticeable over time.\
I hope this helps.
Good luck!

Girls only?
Cocoa Butter makes scars lighter but doesn't get rid of them.
Speak with your doctor about Mederma for removing them.

cocoa butter will help to fade scars and possibly prevent new ones. Vitamin E oil will reduce scaring on skin and internally. For new scrapes and cuts you can use an antibiotic ointment called bactoban and it'll remove the scar completely if its a fresh wound, but you may have to get a prescription but any triple antibiotic ointment will work.

It doesnt get "rid" of scars period. It helps heal and lessen them.
If you are concerned about stretch marks....its mostly in your genes hun, there is nothing to stop you from getting them. over time they will fade. but dont let this stop you from using cocoa butter! it still helps

It does work but I believe the Vitamin E pills work better. Just get the soft gel tablets if you open them up (the tablets) theres a thick syrup inside it clears up scars real good. I had a burn mark and its practically non existant

It somewhat helps minimize the appearance of scars. It's mostly to keep from getting new stretch marks, though...

I'm a guy, but I've got stretch marks all up and down my back and I used coconut butter. It helps a little bit, but not noticeably.

I am sure it helps to reduce their appearance. I would try Maderma (sp?). I have heard that it works wonders on old and new scars alike. Hope this helps!
