You can get pregnent the next month. I did but lost that one too, so the doctor recommends to wait about a year before trying again. That gives your body time to return to normal and heal itself.

Really sorry for your loss. I miscarried on 11th Feb 07 at 11 weeks, and am now 6 weeks pregnant.
Although I was originally told 3 months, I was given the all clear by my consultant on 25/03/07 and told I could try again as soon as I was ready.
Good luck to you x

Although it is recommended that you wait about 6 months, you can become pregnant now. I had a miscarriage in August of 1999 and found out I was pregnant in October of that same year. I didn't even get a period; I just had morning sickness and unexplained fatigue. I went to see my doctor who proudly informed me of this good news.

First and foremost, I am very sorry for your loss. But you are good to go! You should get to work a.s.a.p! =) In some weird way, my ObGyn had said that first time expecting mothers miscarriage almost likely and that when you concieve again, your pregnancy will most likely be a healthy one. So good luck to you and yours and hopefully we'll be getting questions from you in regards to what you should do as a first time mother. :)

That depends on your body. I miscarried our 1st and became pregnant 2 months later and had a perfectly healthy baby! Good luck and try not to put too much pressure on yourself. Just let yourself heal, take your vitamins, drink lots of water and get enough rest!

When I had my miscarriage in 2004 my doctor said to go through 2 cycles and then you can try again. Gives your uterus time to heal.

How soon is right away, but when you should start is another question. You may want to wait another month or so to let your body heal so that it will be healthy to carry another child. Good luck in your future pregnancy.
