I wouldn't be excited or honored. There isn't a person in this world I feel that way about. People are people. That's it for me.

Well she comes from a line of royalty that stems from like a thousand year generation. But most importantly she holds the record for being the longest heir ever to have ruled England and devoted her whole life since very young age to the service of her people, so yeah I'll be interested in meeting her because unlike a regular person who probably is never given this opportunity, she has done a good job as Queen. And quite frankly after her, I don't know if there will be another ruling heir quite like her. That's my opinion.

It's funny, because I'm kinda like you - she's just a woman, right? BUT...I was driving past Richmond airport when her motorcade was preparing to head downtown for the celebrations at the Capitol...Holy Cow!!! I got so excited! I was THAT close to the limo that the Queen was riding in!! woo hoo!! If I had gone running to the limos with paper & pen in hand, hollering Can I get an Autograph, I wonder how long it would have taken our State Troopers to pick me off??!! lol
So while they aren't particularly special people, they are still "the Royals"!!

I would be so delighted to meet her. I am a great fan of European aristrocracy.
Once, I came very close to seeing Princess Di. We were on choir rehearsal to the Dom church in cologne. We wondered what all that fuss was and why so many people lined up the road down from our church where we practiced. Than we found out why, that Princes Di was expected to drive through.
That's how close I came to see a royal in person. It was fantastic.

whilst the former Australian top Minister Paul Keating placed his arm around the queen in 1992, the tabloids dubbed him the "Lizard of oz.." whilst his successor, John Howard, became accused of doing the comparable, a spokesman insisted: "We firmly deny that there became any touch in any appreciate." In 2007, President George W. Bush gave the queen a sly wink in the time of a pass to she paid to u . s .

I would be excited to get the opportunity to talk to her about her life during WWII. She and her sister were great, joined the women's reserve, worked as mechanics.
I think she's a fascinating person. I wouldn't be excited because she's queen, I'd be excited because she is walking history.

I would be very excited to meet her. She has lived an incredible life and has so much to share! Could you imagine if your mother scared the poo out of Hitler? Could you imagine sitting down and chatting with Churchill? The Queen is amazing!

No, I wouldn't be excited. She is important, but she isn't MY Queen. I don't get that excited. No desire to meet the President either.

I guess I would be just as excited as I would be to meet any celebrity. It would be kind of cool to tell the grandkids someday, but I wouldn't go out of my way to meet her.

Not really. In truth, there is nothing in my background that would even remotely make it possible for me to be presented at Court.
