Einstein postulated the General Relativity, so according to Newton, photon travel in straight line, while by General Relativity, in presence of a gravitational field, photon will travel along a curved path.

They both have straight lines but Einstein added the twist that space could be curved so if you compare the two, Einstein's allows light to curve.
