I will tell you why i should be. I had a one night stand about a year ago and just found out I fathered a child from this. My first reaction was there was no way I was the father because I had a vasectomy about 2 years ago, but we had a DNA test done and yep it is mine. Now you would think I would be happy cause now I can sue the doctor for malpractice. Easy payday right??? Wrong!!! I can't sue because that would mean I would have to tell my wife I was unfaithful. Talk about if it wasn't for back luck I'd have no luck at all

Your wife is going to find out, eventually.
You're going to have to pay child support. And, I hope, you're going to step up and be a responsible adult - helping to raise the child that you fathered.
How are you going to hide all that from her for the rest of your life? Why would you want to live like that? Why should your child have to live like that?
Tell all. Be honest. Take the consequences with dignity. Take responsibility for your actions.

First, even though you had a vasectomy 2 years ago,
Why didn't you use a condom to prevent yourself from
getting any STD's?
Second, if you used a condom, this would not have
happen to you.
Third, you are married.
Fourth, the only person should be mad is your wife
when she finds out!

WTF, that's crazy. How do you get around not telling your wife? What if the other chick pushes for child support or forces herself into your life? Man, my opinion only, but stupid **** happens all the time. I think it's best to fess up before your wife learns the hard way. If she truly loves you, it is something the both of you could work through. Just depends on the relationship you currently have with her! Sorry to here that... sounds like Springer ****.

Did you go back for ALL your follow up visits? Did you have your "discharge" checked for sperm count like your supposed to? I'm guessing the answer to this is a resounding "NO".
You were stupid, twice... 1. You didn't follow up like your doctor told you to. 2. You cheated on your wife.
Hope the mother nails you for HUGE child support... How ya gonna keep wifey from finding out then?

Dude - I'd tell my wife and sue anyway! She's gonna find out sooner or later when that child support starts disappearing from your check - or when the notices come in the mail (and they will).
At least the lawsuit might offset the child support for 18 years!

CAN I BE TOTALLY HONEST, YOU SHOULD JUST TELL YOUR WIFE THE TRUTH. IT WASN'T LIKE YOU WERE TRYING TO GET HER PREGNANT. SHE MAY BE MAD AND UPSET AND YOU GUYS MAY HAVE HARDSHIPS, BUT IT WOULD BE NOTHING COMPARED TO IF SHE FOUND OUT ABOUT YOUR KID FROM AN OUTSIDE PARTY. PLEASE GIVE HER AN OPTION. SHE CAN EITHER ACCEPT IT OR NOT, BUT YOU HAVE TO BE PREPARED FOR THAT. THIS IS YOUR CHILD, YOUR FLESH AND BLOOD.
