No. You did not delete it, you weren't able to save it. I don't know how it will be able to retrieve something it has never stored. You just have to re-write it and choose "Yes" when you are prompted to save changes this time.

by work do you mean the changes you did not save or the original document. hopefully you have the original versus the latest version saved. you can always look in your temporary files and see if it was updated there.
also, if you had your tracking toolbar on then you may be able to open it and see if the changes were tracked.
i doubt you will find the changes though.

No, you cannot find it again. All you the changes made have been lost. Sorry. You might want to try and find the orginal document (i hope there is one!) in your documents folder & redo all the changes you made. That's all i can think of to do.
Here's a tip, save your work frequently to prevent this happening to you again.

Nope - if you didn't save the document, then it existed on in RAM. If you ever saved a copy of it, then that copy would still be on the hard drive.

go back to the document and see if what you typed id lost. i have done that a million times so don't worry about it.

it will be any changes made to the doc since you last saved it.
