Its interesting in the world right now with the war in iraq raging that there are more people killed in the usa from guns than in one year from that war. The greed and selfishness of todays generation crosses evert strata of society. We think that material pocessions are going to fill that void.We assume drugs and alcohol will fill that void. Maybe if people started giving a crap about other people than just worrying about themselves and the almighty dollar the society might actually improve[but i doubt it]

Things are no different than they ever were, the population is just larger and the resources less. Since WWII things have gone steadily down hill. People have developed a huge sense of entitlement.

I'm not sure if you are from the US or not. Your criticisms seem rather general. Do you mean everyone in the US is terrible, misled, evil, or what. Are you unhappy with life in general or just your life.

Making an argument based on statistics, depending on where you get them, can be misleading if not downright wrong. I do agree that people need to care more for others and show more love to fellow man. The rest , however , is just an opinion. And we all know that opinions are like anuses. We all pretty much have one and they all pretty much stink

It is not just Western culture that has morally decayed.The world is groaning and travailing from global sin!
