Ok i have been married for going on a year. I am wanting to plan a romantic event for me and my wife because i feel as if she deserves it. The only problem is, we arent made of money. I am a soldier in the US Army, which equals poverty...LOL Well my question is, what can i do that doesnt cost an arm and a leg...like what resturants are beautiful but not expensive, or any other ideas like romantic parks or stuff around Georgia. Plan a beautiful day by a lake. Take a picknick lunch that you make! Enjoy a day of great conversation, lots of snuggles and each other.

1) If all else fails, just try to look stupid or as if you did not hear the question. 2) Do not buy your wife a vacuum cleaner for Christmas. 3) Substantial penalty for early withdrawal. 4) If you complain about the cooking, you will become the chef. 5) yes dear. 6) no dear. 7) your wife will look just like her mother in another 20-30 years. 8) Nothing will make your wife happier than always finding the seat down and no pee on the seat. 9) If there is pee on the toilet, blame it on the dog.

You sound like a kind, considerate, loving husband!
If you have kids, get someone like grandparents or aunts and uncles to have them for a day and overnight and get one of your wife's friends to keep her out of the house for the day. While she is out get the place cleaned up and cook her favourite meal for her. Put a nice cloth on the table, buy her a single red rose and a nice bottle of wine and when she gets home in the evening, be dressed up yourself and have a glass of wine waiting for her next to a bubble bath surrounded by candles. While she relaxes, set the table and be ready to serve the meal when she comes into the room. It is also nice to have some romantic music playing quietly in the background while you eat, and I am sure you can make up your own mind about "dessert"!!!

You can cook her dinner and you guys can eat it by candle light in the living room, listening to a love songs and talking and reminiscing. My husband did that one night for me and I loved it! You can also do things like leave her a love letter near her pillow, give her breakfast in bed, foot rubs and other little things that don't cost anything...but that show her you care.

you know, not all women go for the expensive restaurants and expensive gifts...she married you, means she loves you for what and who you are.
any restaurant that you two like will do or better, cook her a nice meal at home...who knows what the after reward will be.
