I have an Acer notebook and until recently my wireless worked perfectly fine, but now I can't get it working at all, how can I switch it back on, there use to be a little red square on the task bar that I had to activate and it would turn green, this square has now dissappeared.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Hi, the wireless button on the Acer is on the front, not the side. It lights up in orange.

If this is on got to start, settings, netwrok connections, right click wireless connection, properties. Then go to wireless networks, properties, connection. make sure automatic connection is ticked.

Go to "start" "connect to" " wireless network connection" and just click to enable the card.
If this fails some laptops have a switch to enable/ disable wireless lan on the case somewhere, check your manual for the location.

Read your Acer Manual.

Then, ask yourself what you did just before it stopped working.

I hope you didn't upgrade to Vista!
