Here's what I think:
John Lennon in the hospital to recuperate from the wounds.
Milk and Honey being released in March.
John Lennon on a world tour and crossing paths with Paul McCartney. Then they call George and Ringo to be the Beatles again and settle their differences with a Beatles tour and album in 1982.

14 years after John's death, Yoko gave a couple demo tapes to Paul, George, and Ringo which were to eventually become "Free as a Bird", "Real Love", and the upcoming single "Now and Then". So, I think she would've encouraged John to get them back together.

of course yes... McCartney and Lennon have great success after the beatles in the seventies... with 80's pop revolution we really lost some good Lennon's albums (MCartney did it).

I like the idea that Lennon active participate with Live aid, Human Right Now! concerts in the middle eighties, promoting peace and human aid. maybe a movement impulsed by himself (like he did with "war is over" campaign).

one thing leads to other so probably any differences between them could been healed in the late eighties with a back concert, maybe one or two albums (one called "today")

Its for sure that Lennon make a duo with Bono (U2) sometime to get funds to charity.

Oasis probably never exists or they just play in pubs for some bucks. (hating/loving beatles).

We have no idea how many songs died with Lennon, me really lost anthems for newer generations... imagine al the people, living life and peace.

(sorry about the poor grammar)

I dont have the slightest doubt they would ever have gotten back together, no, no, no, It just wasnt going to happen. Too many differences and they were just all on a different path. Before John died, they all had 10 years and countless times they were asked to reunite just for like one appearance or charity or whatever, over and over they declined. My question is, how would the 80's or 90's be any different than then??? Sometimes when its over, its over!!!

The Beatles were long over. It wasn't about Lennon. Yoko killed the Beatles.

I'm not sure about them reuniting permanently, but they probably would have made some appearances as a band - probably for events such as the original Live Aid in 1985.

I don't think in a reunion in 1982, but maybe in the last eighties. But in something no very different from the anthologies.
