Nice to see someone else has a little compassion for another human being. Did Paris make a mistake? Yes, she did. We ALL make mistakes. I think the Community as a whole would be better served if she did Community Service of some kind.

Did ANY of you even READ that ridiculous "PARDON REQUEST" that was sent to the PRESIDENT of the United STATES from the spoiled little rich girl????? Oh please---it was hysterical except for the fact that it proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that this child in Adult clothing has NO CLUE... read it---she says stuff like she should be pardoned for "the sake of the poor, less fortunate people in our country"...... the little "Princess" committed two crimes ---FIRST, violating the terms of her probation for a DWI arrest by driving a car... and second---driving that car with a SUSPENDED LICENSE..... those are CRIMES people and obviously the little "Princess" had not learned her lesson in the FIRST PLACE when she got caught driving DRUNK.... had she DRIVEN DRUNK and had an accident that killed one of YOUR RELATIVES, would you be so willing to let her off with NOTHING? Oh and after you actually READ her idiotic FAX she sent to President Bush begging for a pardon, if you have HALF A BRAIN, you'd realize just how far out in LALA LAND this girl REALLY IS.... ANYONE else who did what she did would have been punished the same exact way.... we can't have different laws for the priviledged just because they have MONEY---a law is a law and that's IT. Paris Hilton BROKE THE LAW, Paris Hilton 's grasp on reality is SOOO far off base that she makes Brittany Spears look like a RHODES SCHOLAR.... (sorry Brit)... She should take her WELL DESERVED PUNISHMENT like the Adult she professes to be and Stop wasting the time of all those sick people who think she is being overly persecuted... believe me she is NOT..... Let the little Princess drive on probation, LET her think it's OK to drive DRUNK, let her kill someone with her obnoxious insane behavior... GROW UP and while you at it PARIS HILTON---why don't YOU try GROWING UP AS WELL.....

Every one should be responsible for their actions, even the rich and famous. If she wasn’t who she is she would have got into a lot more trouble. She got off easy compared to others for drinking and driving. And then driving with a suspended license, at night, with no head lights on. She was probable drunk then too. Maybe the judge wants to teach her a lesson before she kills herself or someone else. Don’t worry she won’t be imprisoned like other inmates. I’m sure she will only be bored in jail. As far as being attacked, hated or loved, that’s part of the price of being in the public eye and for being rich and famous. Besides, do you really think she cares what us meager peasants think of her.

i don't think they should be bashing her.. and i think that when celebrities get pulled over and in trouble with the law, it should be kept quiet!!!! but i don't know how human paris is, i mean come on, she told the judge that she "doesn't read" her mail, that she "has people to do that for me.." COME ON!! i think that she did the crime, so she should pay the time, but i also think that it's none of anyones business and it's sad that everyone is bashing her!!!! she obviously needs help if she is out driving drunk, not more attacks that will probably depress her and make her do it again!!!! and all of these so called paris haters are really stupid because they are just giving her more and more publicity and attention and i think that if they really didn't care about her or like her then they probably wouldn't be giving her all of this attention!!!!

Yes, she is human... human's make mistakes and suffer the consequences. if she wants to be considered human, she too should face the jail time that everyone else has went through for the exact same act.
For her to blame her publicist for telling her she can drive for work reasons only is a lame and childish excuse. Being an adult, that would be a question you'd typically ask your lawyer or someone with some legal nature to clarify the guidelines.
If someone has screwed up so bad to have their own hate group, good for them. maybe they'll realize what kind of person they are.

Have not heard about the hate campaign, and do not agree with it. Her wealth does not bother me, she has all the rights to it. However she is turning out to be a lush, drinking to much booze, does cause such behavior as Paris Hilton is exhibiting. For her own good and her health, it would be great if she would join AA and stay sober. That I would think would please her Parents as well. Let us save the alcohol for the alternative fuel, to run our vehicles.

As far as her lawbreaking ways, she should have to pay the piper just like anyone else would. But an actual organized group called "Go Away Paris" is as ridiculous as she is. Anyone who would be involved in such a thing either has no life or is a publicity seeker - just like the person they claim to hate, LOL. Idiots!

Paris has had a friend start an online petition to present to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, asking for him to pardon her so she doesn't have to go to jail. She still thinks that she is privileged and above being punished. Celebrities as a group aren't hated. Some celebrities court their own bad press. Paris does that regularly. She asks for her own bad press. She may be human but she appears to think she is still above the rest of us.

She knew that she breaking the law and driving without a license. And the excuse that she doesn't read her mail or any papers and just signs whats in front of her is really stupid. She thought she was above the law and she is not. She should do her time and learn from it.

Most people go to jail for what she did, it's just not all over the news. Just because she has millions doesn't mean she can do what she wants without paying for it, just not fair. she needs to suck it up and serve her sentence like an adult, instead of crying to daddy!
