not red i'm experiancing brown in colour instead what dose this mean is it a proper period i'm on microgynon.

its normal its old from your last period when you started the pill, if it gets worse then speak to a gp as your body might not get on with this particular pill, i didnt it messed up my body big time. also check ur not pregnant just incase.

almost all the pills contains hormones.theses onesones control the priods .and when u stop the pills u have your period.
the bleeding vary from a woman to another.
some woman never have periods while on the pills.
and others have very heavy ones.
this is pill world.

It's not a proper period. it's called a break through bleed. No egg is released when you're on the pill, so you don't have a proper period.
I'd double check with your doctor, but when i was on it i often just carried on taking it without having a break as my pharmiscist told me it wasn't necessary.

if its brown i would go see ur doctor.old blood shouldnt be coming out no matter if ur on the pill .

red is fresh blood brown is slightly older
its nothing really to worry about its quite common

I think you need to go to see the school nurse or ahve a chat with your mum! Your missing something, either that or your too young to be taking the pill! Don't you understand something before taking it????
