My friend lent me some really cool Reggae CDs...and I played them so much I think I wrecked them. She has lots more and I'd like to borrow them too,so should I cop to what happened to the ones she already left here, or blame it on the cats? She IS kind of CRAZY.

sonhutch1...Bob Marley sounds like he's singing under water.....I'd say the CD is wrecked & all I did was keep playing them over & over. It's not like I played frisbee with the darn things....okay.

I'm getting straight up desparet here you guys.Yikes! Bob Marley is refusing to sing now. I just love his voice. My boyfriend who hates ANY kind of REGGAE music has very nicely suggested that I clean the CDs with sandpaper, BUTT!! I can't find any. Will ajax work? Tell me ASAP! cuz this question is running outta time. Thanx.

Donelle, don't EVER cop to anything if you don't absolutely have to.
Go on, borrow some more, she won't remember the ones you've already decimated.
So when you two get together it must be a real hoot huh?
EDIT:
Because you sound so desperate, may I further suggest:
* Play frisbee with your friend's ruined cds.
* Use the sandpaper on your boyfriend's BUTT.
* Toss said B/F out - you two will never get along if he's not into Marley!!
* Save the ajax for the loo.
* And do borrow some more cds, one can never have enough frisbees!!

Ive never heard of wrecking a CD by playing it too much, but you should tell her the truth and replace them.

If your friend lent you these CDs and you wrecked them,then you are honour bound to replace them. Buy her some new ones, and take copies of them before you give them to her.

lend your friend a busted cd. once shee comes back at you, tell her it was working before you lent it to her. make her pay and then tell her that the bob marley cd that she lent you is enough payment already.

donelle....if i was you i'd just tell her....she might already have doubles....but wen you tell her make sure you menchion that you will replace them. you havent done anything wrong accidents happen...we're all human...if she offers you to punch on then protect yourself and accomadate her....but i hope a couple of CDs cant ruin a friendship! just be straight up......
