Not to my knowledge,The Trammps, US male vocal group,had 7 songs in the charts from 1974 to 1978,and Earth wind and fire also had 7 hits from 1977 to 1978, but never did a version of disco inferno. At least not in the charts,

big Earth, Wind and Fire fan here, and I dont have that song on any of their albums I have. I never heard them do it either, so my guess would be no.
