Don't get under a tree for lightning. Get in a car (faraday cage) and touch no metal outside.
Lay flat in ditch for tornado.
Dig a snow cave in blizzard to keep warm, snow is an insulator.
If told to evacuate a town, start right away, drop what you are doing.

Stay indoors. If there is a tornado get to the center of the house in a windowless room. The best thing to do though is be prepared. Have a stash of non-perishable food/bottled water so that you can last for a while without store visits.

Well.... If it is a fricken' blizzard outside then I say you should not go out in that weather whatsoever. Mmkay now? Lighting do not fly a kite or be on top of your roof holding a metal rod. I would say bad things would happen if you did this. Thunderstorms are okay.. Rainy is cool. Sunny it's hot wear sun screen and don't go outside skateboarding with a hoodie, jeans, and a beenie on. YOU WILL OVER HEAT!! Mmkay now...? I had a friend who did that, and well let's just say he got hot really fast... Mmmkay now.

dont swim in the pool when a storm going on. dont talk on the phone either, (cell phones are ok) Just chill in doors and drink some cocktails! Unless you got a hurricane or tornado your good!

If you are in your car and the wind blows a power line down on you, STAY in your car. The tires insulate you, but if you get out and ground yourself its sizzle city!

make sure to check you local news station so you are prepared then if a storm comes in make sure you have a flashlight and a battery/emergency radio make sure kid are in and noone goes out no matter what safe weathering
