Bush is just a puppet dancing to the tune that Cheney brought with him to the White House.
Remember that it was Cheney who was tasked to find Bush a running mate. Then stunned everyone when he anounced that HE was going to be Bush's VP candidate.
It all makes sense. Bush is too stupid to be anything but the fall guy for Cheney's OIL Policy.
The proof lies in the fact that before the Iraq war, Halliburton stock was worth $9.10 after the war it grew to a high of over $80. It has since split and with investigations going on Halliburton stock is only 32.45 now (thats really 64.90 due to the split.) The stock is now worth 7 TIMES what is was before the war.
Do you still think the Energy Task Force papers are not important?
The foregin policy of the US has been written by OIL companies with the appropriate results. The oil companies are raking in the profits and Halliburton has all the no-bid contracts.

Iraq is a disaster because of its own people. Bush is a master of Foreign policy and not Religion. Iraq is a mess because of Islam. The religion is a mess from USA to Indonesia to Chinese provinces to Africa. Bush is stuck in it. And thank god he is or else we would see large scale chaos in middle east. Maybe Israel would be under immense attack and oil prices would have soared above $4. When Bush with so many troops cant control the fanatics there, do you think the radicals would let US get the oil they want?
Grow up Americans, if you dont understand the whole middle East, dont question the policy.

Masters also make mistakes.
But no body thinks including Bush that the invading Iraq was Master minded act. At best it was impulsive and at worst it was wrong, immature and untimely.
Saddam Husein was wrong, he was under the impression that he can indefinitely tease the patience of UN, and world community, lets face it, at one time collision of 23 nations saw fit to go in to Iraq.
Honestly I cannot condemn or condone their action even now, hind sight is always batter then 20/20.
There were mistakes made on the part of all parties involved and the biggest one was made by international community (UN).
I wish we can bring peace to the world, that is the only way, and it is way over due, here is no other way to exist but peacefully, there is prosperity in peace, I wish every one wishes, preys, hopes, work diligently for peace.
I wish insurgents can be repatriated soon and peace fully. I wish it must be done and done soon, I also wish we can open a door or two for them to depart Iraq, this will take great diplomacy but we must pull it off for the general good of all mankind. Ther is no other choice but to live in peace.

If someone called Bush a master of foreign policy, they must have said it sarcastically. Bush is very much like Hannity and Limbaugh in that if he is the master of anything, he is a master of disinformation.

I have a hard time believing that any of his supporters would be silly enough to make that claim. Even the die hard ones have got to admit, when it comes to foreign policy, he is a dud. Bush, or Cheney should have made this trip to Iraq several months ago to see first hand just what the he// is going wrong.

What approximately Vietnam? i do no longer understand the form you need to legitimately argue that Iraq is worse than Vietnam. 60,000 individuals lifeless. What on the subject of the neutrality and appeasment earlier the US entered WW2? shall we've helped out the British, and French, and varnish, and Russians, and so on fairly of waiting until Hitler had taken over maximum of Europe. i think of conflict is an unsightly element, yet waiting as long as we did to go into WW2 might have fee hundreds of thousands of lives. So, to respond to your question- no longer by a protracted shot. Iraq is undesirable, yet no longer even close to to the "superb distant places coverage disaster in American history".
