Can I take a camera to take pictures? And a video recorder?

I don't want policemen at the entrance to keep my camera!

not legally, but u can try to smuggle something in, but if they catch u it will be confiscated!!!

i don`t think they can do much about the phone, as i`ve been to many shows where people used their mobiles to take pix...good luck!!!

Probably not. Most venues do not allow cameras as the flashes of thousands of cameras can be annoying to others. Also, video cameras can get in the way and some venues get camera men in to film so dvd's can be sold at a later date.I've written reviews for concerts in the past, and getting photos is difficult as most venues will not allow the use of cameras.Enjoy the gig, I'm sure it will be a good one.

I have been to many gigs where it states on the tickets no cameras allowed yet the whole place is lit up with flashes going off! I have never had my camera taken off me yet. Contact the venue to find out for sure. With all due respect to the Who I dont think there would be much demand for bootleg recordings!

some venues have metal detectors. some don't. most big venue shows dont' allow photography unless the band itself allows it. not too many bands do. grateful dead were famous for allowing fans to photograph and tape their shows.
the who have never allowed that. but a throwaway digital cam to sneak in. that way if you get it taken away, you are only out 20 bucks US. camera phones are safe, but the pic quality isn't that great.
i'm a huge who fan, but pete and rog don't look so good nowadays. i wouldn't be too excited to get a pic of those two anymore.

wow The Who??
it all depends on how strict the venue is...
out of the gigs i have been to, they usually say no photographic/audio/digital recording is allowed, but they also say no crowd surfing, etc...but EVERYONE does it!
i shouldnt worry, but its best to just take your phone 9so you can take pics but say its for other purposes) or a disposable camera.
ask around that area-its up to you whether to risk it-if i were you i would, you want to remember this!

Why not take a disposable camera, then if it gets confiscated, you won't have to worry.
