Are the charity chain e-mails legitimate - like for example "forward this e-mail and needy person will get 2 cents for each recipient"? Will the person who needs help really receive this money and if it will who pays and how it works?

Nope and neither are the ones that say: "Forward this to 10 people and you will have good luck, if you don't forward it, bad things will happen to you."
Never forward it, delete it immediately!
If you wanna give your $ to charity, then go to the charity and ask them how you can help.

Most of these emails are just spam with an added "push" to get them out. A majority of these messages are just hoaxes and no one really recieves any money. Its similar to the "if you dont forward this you will never find true love" catch but looks to be more effective.

Did you enter the lottery? No, probable rip-off. there is an significant difference with a perfect Yahoo! digital mail, and a rip-off - the ! first rate Yahoo emails consistently have the exclamation mark.
