The power series x - x^2/2 + x^3/3 - x^5/5.....converges to ln(1 + x) in (-1, 1]. Therefore, the series

x/4 - (x/4)^2/2 + (x/4)^3/3 - (x/4)^5/5.... converges to ln(1 + x/4) in (-4, 4].
