I've got to organise a disco at work and provide a playlist. This is the core age range although there are one or two younger and older people so BIG hits for other ages will also do. Tell me what records really make you want to dance?

You can NOT go wrong with:
Move This - Technotronics (that song will never die and you can't keep still to it)

If you've got the groove really going on, although it's not a fast beat - Always There When You Call (by Ashanti and Ja Rule is infectious)

If your group of 30 - 50 is hip then Janet Jackson's - All Nite (Don't Stop) is a dance floor MUST).

I know you asked for 3, but no list would be complete without - the original Electric Slide by Marcia Griffiths

Now throw in R. Kelly's - Step In The Name of Love and you'll have the dance floor jumping with all from age 30 - 50.

If you want more, throw in ABBA's Dancing Queen and let the older folks put some pep in their step!
Good luck with that.

The top three disco songs for the 30 - 50 crowd are:

I Will Survive - Gloria Gaynor
It's Raining Men - Weather Girls
Last Dance - Donna Summer

If you must, substitute Brick House by the Commodores, or Celebration by Kool and the Gang.

You can also include anything from either the Saturday Night Fever or Footloose soundtracks, or anything from Thriller.

You pretty much can't lose with anything from the 1977 - 1985 era.

I think it's great when you've had a few drinks and the 80's hits start coming on - 80's hair rock. The Final Countdown, Sweet Child O' Mine etc etc. Although some of the New Romantics would be a good blast from the past for the 30 to 50 crowd, A-ha, Adam and the Ants, Duran Duran.

I'm 33 mine would be.
Dead or Alive - You spin me Round
The Specials - Too Much To Young
Bobby Brown - Two Can Play That Game.

I would say though that anything by Wham, Madonna, The Troggs, Queen etc would go down well with any age group after a few drinks.

Good Luck

At 30 you need some slow.
At 40 something slower.
At 50 lots of alcohol and something very slow.

I'd go for Stariway to heaven by Led Zepellin or maybe Elkie Brooks version...
