I can ride fantastically 'bare-back'! I had horses from when I was very young so I can just jump on and go for it! It's a pain sometimes though if you're riding a skinny one, the ride is really uncomfortable, so always pick a WIDE one to go on bare-back..that's my advice.............

presuming this is re horse riding i had to learn to ride without a saddle,

as my instructor said i would learn to ride better and not rely on the saddle to stay on , but use my ability

i can "ride" bare back, saddled back and any other back you like.....

its easier and more enjoyable then riding with wellys on, unless your riding sheep.........always wear wellys when riding sheep
