Get in your car and drive. Drive until you can't drive anymore. Park the car, have a bite to eat, get back in the car and drive home. During that time you should let your mind index through your thoughts that are weighing on you. Find out what they are, write them down. Get them out of your head and on to paper. Your brain is full of thoughts, and it's your body's way of telling you it's time to purge. Just like every so often you have to delete the "cookies" on your computer. It's a purge of tension and all the mental thoughts taking up space on the hard drive of your mind. You thoughts need to be compressed and make room in your mind so there is free space, your mind needs to relax. Meditation helps. While you're driving, listen to a "book on tape" or CD as the case may be. Listen to someone telling you a story, escape for a while. You just need a vacation and some time to relax your mind.

It is entirely possible that you are suffering from depression. And that, as has already been suggested, is nothing that you should ignore. However, I also believe that we are too quick, in our society, to label things as a 'disorder' of one kind or another.
Understand that there are peaks and valleys in all our lives. We all have highs and lows. Sometimes, the lows feel unmanageable, and it almost seems as though you will never feel happy again. But something - perhaps small and insignificant - will happen, and your mood will turn around.
My suggestion is that you get out of your house and into the sunshine. Take a walk...spend some time with friends. Look around you - at all the good things in this world, instead of focussing on yourself and your mood. Or try to mask your unhappiness for a little while - the old 'fake it til you make it'. If it is just a normal down feeling, you will find that your spirits pick up. If this is not the case, and you continue to feel miserable, it is time to seek professional help. But I emphasize...please do not assume you are depressed or clinically affected in any way. Too often, people make this mistake and justify a normal unhappiness with a disorder...and you are not doing yourself any favors by doing that.
Good luck and God Bless...

I think itz just the age that makes you feel so. Do your things casually and please do not be alone. If you are in a situation that u have to be alone try keeping yourself busy. Do not let your mind ponder your body and soul. Think of the happy moments tat you had wit your family and friends this would probably get rid of your suicidal mind.
Believe in the recent past something bad must have occurred to you or your family member or to a known person. Forget about the past. Life each and every second happily Cuz none knows when is their day to kiss death.
Enjoy.

First of all, huge kudos to you for taking the bull by the horns and breaking it off rather than "taking a break." I think you nailed it right on the head with him "taking the easy way out." It sounds like he's suffering from a case of "the grass is always greener," and when he's realized that it's really not, he can always come back to you - you're comfortable, familiar. Well, damn it, put your foot down. You are not a doormat. Take the power back and tell him it's either all or nothing. You've been together for ten years, so it's not going to be easy...but it's possible. Just take it one day at a time. You CAN do it. People do it all the time. Spend more time with friends...maybe get a new place...take time to really enjoy yourself.

It would be a good idea to get to a doc so this doesnt go any further. Might be put on an antidepressant and maybe start talk therapy. You are not alone when it comes to the suicidal thoughts and its not your fault. If you get an evaluation with a doc some things might come to light. So check with your insurance and make an appt with a doc. Hope you feel better soon:)

Did something happen to trigger these feelings and the panic attack? Find someone that you feel you can talk to about it. Hearing it out loud can help you to see it from a different perspective, and show you solutions that you may have been unable to see before. Whether you need a change of scenery, or a goal to focus on, you should be able to see the best way for you.

You said your life was going good? Have you thought about what changes have occured in your life recently, any changes at all that could be making you feel that way?
I have also experienced suicidal thoughts but that was when my addiction was in full force! Now that I am clean I no longer have those thoughts and my outlook on life is way better.
For me when I get down and depressed, I just pray. Because sometimes our problems are too overwhelming, so try turning to a Higher Power. :)

Go bike riding. Go to the zoo. Get in touch with your natural self. Take a walk in a park and watch how birds and squirrels interact. Notice the simplicity of their existence and realize that things are only as serious as we make them. Life is simple. WE as individuals add all of the spice that muddies it up most times. Get out of your comfort zone and do something fun. Spring is the best time of year. The sun is shining and the air is crisp. nature has so many gifts, take advantage of them.

What you are describing may be a mood disorder. It is important that you see a doctor as soon as possible; there are actual chemical changes that sometimes take place in the brain, leading to depression and/or anxiety. Your doctor may be able to provide help managing these symptoms. You should also seek professional counseling to help learn ways to cope with stress and manage your symptoms. If you had the flu, you'd seek medical attention, wouldn't you? Mental health is just as important; see your doctor!
