I hope not. Hopefully common sense will prevail and he will stay to have another crack at the Champions league next season. History has shown that the most successful clubs are the ones who stick with their managers and don't sack them after comparatively lean seasons.

Real Madrid have gone through coach after coach in the hope that the next one will win things, but they haven't won anything in about 4 seasons.

Mourinho has been the most successful manager Chelsea have had in a long time, bringing them their first title in 50 years. Even if they have had a lot of money to spend, you still need to cultivate a winning mentality within the squad, and he has done so.

He also has the know-how to succeed in Europe, having done so twice with FC Porto. Big head? Yes. Indignant? Yes. Talented? Also a yes.

Well they always say that when a chairman says he is happy with you and he has every confidence in you, then it is the final nail in your coffin. I think the differences between him and Roman will play a big part in Jose Mourinho leaving. Also, Roman has paid out a lot of money to buy players and where have they got him? A mickey mouse cup, and they could win the FA Cup.

In the end I think Roman will give the chairman an ultimatum, get rid of Jose or I will start looking else where to spend my billions!

each and every thing he pronounced is genuine. yet Liverpool are extra advantageous at one element, and that's triumphing in ninety minutes that rely. Chelsea are very consistent over the years, and could win even while they are enjoying undesirable in the league. yet in knockout competitions Mourinho merely seems to get the procedures incorrect. not enjoying a minimum of one, if not 2 of Joe Cole, Damien Duff, and Aarjen Robben, may be the worst flow he would have made. in any case, i will see Chelsea triumphing the league returned next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. yet i will additionally see the owner getting annoyed on the shortcoming of cup silverware, extremely eu.

I think he is gone either winning or losing the FA Cup final. You can see things are not good since Chelsea did not bring any new players during the winter transfer period.

I don't think so. John Terry and Frank Lampard hasn't signed their new contracts. If Mourinho leaves, the England duo may pack their bags too. And if rumours are to be believed, John Terry will head to wherever Mourinho will be and Lampard to Barcelona.
But I guess Mourinho will only have 1 more season to prove himself and it helps if he stops antagonizing his boss.

Back to mediocrity if that happens and the entire premiership will suffer. I remain convinced that together with Benitez they have raised the general standard of the Premiership including Sir Alex's team (but unfortunately not Wenger's) and this reflects in Europe. Big loss fo everyone.

I think it's a foregone conclusion even when they were still on for the quadruple, Roman fell out with him as soon as he left out Sheva, don't think he'll be too bothered , a nice pay -off and probably the heart of the Chelsea team will follow him.

He says he won't but I can't imagine that Abramovich will be over the moon with having spent £500m to win the Carling Cup.
It just goes to show that you cannot buy sustained success.
