Ive never seen it done.. But is it possible to grab the ball and sign it ( by a batter - Barry Bonds) and sign it before it leaves the park because Im sure 756 will have a high price on it, even higher once signed ???

Thre are usually several balls in play ( no pun intended). He would have no way of knowing which ball woudl be the one hit out of the park. HOwever, most people who retrieve these special hit balls immediately get them signed by the player. (He'd be smart to ask Bonds to put the 756 on it, too.)

what? and pull a T.O. by keeping a sharpie in his leggings, and ask the umpire for the ball before he throws it to the pitcher. Plus he could foul off 5 or 6 signed balls before the big hit. multiply that by his hr/at bat ratio, and you get a lot of balls. Nah, the lucky fan who catches it will get enough media attention, that all he has to do is ask for an autograph. He should get it considering barry said he doesn't care if he gets the ball or not. Its for the fans.

Barry Bonds doesn't know how to spell his name.

It would be more morally correct is he just coated the ball with steroid cream.

This is one of the funnier questions I've seen asked.

But to be fair and answer it, the answer is "no."
