the clearwire isnt connected to the phone. I have DI-524 wireless router.

i have no idea what all that is? lol but i thikn it does have a card inside, it gets a signal but its no tthat good so i cant connect to anything.

You need a LOCAL wireless Router. You would connect your clearwire connection to the router the main PC to the wired ports on the router and your wireless laptop to the new router.
Clearwire wont be seen by your laptop unless you have some way to "transmit" the signal to it.

Your laptop probably has it's own inbuilt card. You use the Card's utility to find your router, set the encryption and then connect. If it has no internal card install the linksys software and connect the card. From there the routine is the same.
