Unlawful detention (locking her in the house and not letting leave)
Neglect (Failure to provide her with the same advantages as her own children)
Extortion (Stealing her money left to her by her father)
Embesslement (Taking money left to Step mom to take care of Cinderella and spending it on her own children)
I am sure that there are more but I cannot think of them at the moment. I have not seen the movie in a while

Verbal Abuse. Yet, sadly it is not a crime. It just happens too much and Step witches get away with alot when no one monitors them. Slavery is a crime but you have to report it. Cinderella is a Disney cartoon, far far away from reality of the day. I think the Prince should have beheaded the step or stuck her in a woman's shelter to see what women in distress have to endure.

Fish pretty much hit the nail on the head. The blogger who provided the "verbal abuse" would be a form of Child Neglect by neglecting to provide a positive environment for the child!
