Ok..lately, (like within the last week or so) I have receive at least one violation email PER DAY. My questions I don't think are offensive in nature, not pornographic, no vulgar language (unless maybe I'm replying to a bigot's post), or anything of that nature. Could it be possible that I am being targeted by someone? If so, could you knock it off? Also, if this is true, is there a way to protect my account and all my important information before my account gets deleted due to whoever is doing this?

I get the same thing - well not as often, but most of my answers I don't think are offensive at all. I think someone just gets pissed off and flags me. It doesn't make sense though, They will remove my noniffensive answer, or a question I post, but yet they won't remove a question where someone is calling jews and christians pigs...... doesn't make sense to me...in my last removal email I chewed out yahoo lol, I know it didn't do any good though

Yahoo! Answers trolls have already stated that they are targeting some people by reporting their questions and answers in the hopes of getting their accounts deleted. They have already been successful in some cases.

You should respond to each Violation Notice and tell Yahoo! why they are wrongful violations.

You should also make a comment at the Yahoo! Answers Violation Notice Board.

You should email Yahoo! directly to let them know that you think your account is being targeted for deletion by a troll:
y_answrs_katie@yahoo.com

The only sure way to protect your information is to either make copies of the information onto your hard drive or to email the information to a non Yahoo email address.

I'd say forward every email to another account. Either that or pay to POP all of your emails down to your home computer from the yahoo servers. That's the only way I know of to save your stuff.

Hey, this is happening to me too. I think the tattle tale trolls are getting out of hand, because compared to what answers and questions I've seen, mine are rather demure in comparison. I'm sure that my account is going to be history pretty soon as well....

There seems to be no reason nor rhyme to why violations are handed out sometime. Like you, I don't use lewd language, or anything of this sort and I get one every now and them. Maybe we are being singled out by certain people.

You've got a stalker.

Open a new account just for Yahoo Answers. It's the only safe way.

if you want to make sure your account doesn't get deleted because of your actions on Yahoo Answers the only thing you can do is to stop using Yahoo Answers with that account.

Create another "play" account and use that one, so if it gets deleted then there's no harm.

I read about this in a forum. It sucks. I would save all my important stuff to the hard drive and hope for the best.
